The Red Wolf
With fewer than a hundred individuals left in the wild, the red wolf is a critically endangered species. Alison Imbriaco's book contains facts about the physical and social characteristics of red wolves as well as the threats that they face in the wild. In addition, the text includes information for readers about how they can help save red wolves from disappearing from the earth forever.

Saving Endangered Species series. Organized like an elementary science report, this book about the status of red wolves aims to be user-friendly but leaves little for report writers to do on their own. The publisher's enhanced website provides links to "Approved Websites," simplifying Internet research. A few photographs and charts accompany fairly dull screen shots. Reading list.
