* Reviews *

For libraries looking for high-interest reading for preteens and teens, these books fit the bill. They all have five short chapters; full-color photos, many full-page; a time line; a discography/filmography; a glossary; and an index rounding out the fewer than 50 pages. Websites and fan pages are also listed. Fans of these stars will obviously be most interested in these titles, which could give basic information for a one-page report. The main issue, as with most celebrity biographies, is timeliness. For example, Bieber mentions that he and Selena Gomez are friends, and that the rumors of them dating are false. As of the writing of this review, the two are a confirmed couple. Still, the books are sure to circulate due to the popularity of the subjects., School Library Journal January 2012
