Obama Family Photo Album series. Given the small amount of content and the duplication of information among volumes in this series, one book might have been better than four to tell the Obamas' story. The texts provide facts and dates as captions to the many photographs, which include some effective candid shots. There is little linearity, and shifts in verb tense make the narration awkward.
