George Gershwin
George Gershwin is one of the most important American composers of the twentieth century. Music was Gershwin's language, and he aimed to use it to reflect the American spirit. His musical compositions, many of which were featured in Broadway theatre, blended a variety of styles, from popular music, to classical, to jazz.
