Marconi and Tesla
Marconi and Tesla worked separately to devise wireless radio technology that would reach around the world. Author Tim O'Shei vividly tells the stories of these two very different men, from their early childhood days to groundbreaking discoveries and innovations. Their inventions included wireless communication equipment, including Marconi's equipment on the Titanic that was used to alert another ship to the disaster, the Tesla coil (transformer) used in today's radios and television sets, and more. Fun experiments with radio waves and an electromagnet are also included.
