American Humane Association Top 10 Pets for Kids

Age Level: 8–9  Grade Level: 3–4

Written in chapter format and using simple sentences, each elementary-level title discusses things to consider when choosing a type of pet such as behavior, appearance, and special needs, as well as general care of the pet, including diet, health, handling, and grooming.
