Dakota Britton-Barrows is a poet and writer who manages a queer café in New Hampshire. Dakota is an alumni of AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps, and served 10 months in the Southwest region of the country. They have previously published their own zine, Term, and have had their nonfiction published in Crab Fat Magazine. In their spare time, they can be found volunteering as a facilitator for the local LGBTQ Youth Group, sipping on lattes, perusing around greenhouses, and browsing the local bookstores for their next great read! They live with their wife, Danielle, and their 32 houseplants in Dover, New Hampshire.
