Top Pets for Kids with American Humane

Age Level: 8–9  Grade Level: 3–4

A series of elementary-level books, with each title concentrating on a different pet. Each book will discuss the various breeds or species within each pet group. Written in chapter format and using simple sentences, each title will discuss things to consider when choosing a type of pet, as well as general care of the pet, including diet, health, handling, and grooming. The American Humane Association (AHA) will review and approve each book.
